Exterior 3D Property CGIs
Exterior Property CGIs to Support Planning Applications and Off-Plan Sales
Exterior architectural CGIs show a development exactly as it will look once built, from a single
self-build house to a multi-plot residential scheme.
We create these images for two main purposes: to support planning applications
by showing local authorities and consultees a realistic, contextual view of a
proposed building, and to support sales and marketing by giving prospective buyers a clear,
attractive image of a home they can’t yet visit.
Both use cases rely on the same underlying 3D model, which is why developers across Liverpool,
Cheshire, Manchester, Chester, Warrington, Southport, the Wirral, Lancashire, Shropshire,
North Wales and the Isle of Anglesey come to us for both.
We work from architectural drawings, elevations and site plans to build an accurate 3D model of
the property and its immediate surroundings, then light, texture and
render it to a photorealistic standard.
Photomontage CGIs
For sites where the surrounding context matters - a sensitive location, an existing
streetscape, or a standout view - we often combine CGI with photography to create a
photomontage, blending the proposed building seamlessly into a real photograph of the site.
This approach is particularly effective for showing how a new development will sit within an
established area, or for showcasing a view from a balcony or garden that doesn’t exist yet.
Exterior CGIs
Exterior CGIs form the foundation of most marketing packages, they’re also the most
cost-effective place to start. Once we’ve built the model for one view, additional angles - front,
rear, aerial, street scene, or different times of day and seasons - can be added at a fraction of
the cost of the first image.
This makes it straightforward to build a full set of exterior visuals
covering every plot type in a development, ready for brochures, hoardings, websites and sales offices.
